Our awesome Beam camp leaders will be eagerly awaiting your arrival - they’ll be the ones wearing grey shirts! Once you’ve been signed in you can wave goodbye to Mum and Dad and let the fun begin!

Don’t worry if you get here a bit early - there will be fun games and challenges for you to try your hand at until the rest of your campmates arrive.

Day 1

Explore and Experiment

The best way to learn is to experience things for yourself! Use fully immersive virtual reality technology to explore our solar system and beyond and discover what challenges will be facing our colonists in the Trappist-1 system.

VR Day02 2x

Code and Create

It’s time to get down to business! We’ll continue growing your block coding skills by looking at core concepts like functions, variables and iteration, so you can add even more interactivity to your virtual space colony.

You’ll also become a sculptor using immersive VR to create your own 3D masterpiece! We’ll import your finished model into your VR space colony.

Day 3

Mission Complete

Today’s the day we bring it all together! We’ll put the finishing touches on our projects and maybe even add a few cool new features like NPCs and ‘guided tours’ to really bring our designs to life!

Once your project is ready for launch we’ll hook you up with the immersive VR tech once more so you can step into your space colony and experience it as if you were really there!

Finally, present your work to the group so they can check out your creations and cheer you on as you achieve your 'Beam Badge'.
